Practical notes
Good to Know
Markets
Big Sunday market (food + antiques + brocante) — the town highlight, so arrive early. Smaller Thursday morning market too.
Parking
The centre is compact and jams on market days. Use the free edge car parks and walk in — don't drive into the old town on Sundays.
Booking
Restaurants fill on weekends, market days and all of August. Reserve ahead.
Antiques
~300 dealers. Antique villages open mainly Sat–Sun–Mon; the big international fairs are around Easter and 15 August.
Self-catering
Intermarché / Super U on the outskirts for groceries; excellent bakeries in town.
Day trips
Avignon TGV ~30–40 min. Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Gordes, Roussillon and the Luberon villages are easy drives.
